This morning I was reading an article about a corporation in India that actually has scheduled meditation breaks for all their employees and it made me wonder why we don’t do that too🤔🙄
When we go to work we may get breaks yet do we really take them to stop and breath or do we take them to chit chat, go run an errand or not take them at all and just continue working?🤔
We rarely balance out our week cause we are so accustomed to just working working working and we wonder why by mid week we can’t wait for the weekend to get here and by Friday we’re burnt out😥…
hmm makes no sense huh?!?
So my friends..
Don’t forget to balance your week with a little bit of play time too.. it will make your week a lot better and it’s good for your mind and body too 😏

It always makes me giggle when I’m on a roll doing something, make plans to totally finish it the next day and then mother nature says…
When I worked in corporate America, I always had to go go go and wouldn’t stop until I was done…
Which always stressed me out and wore me out as well..😩😩
Since I got the bus home and made a solid decision to take my time and do it right, it never fails that whenever that go go go side pops up, mother nature and the universe do something that makes me have to slow down and take a break 😂😂
Yesterday I didn’t stop with the taping and painting on the bus all day long… It was a beautiful day and that go go go side of me flared up big-time…
By the end of the day my shoulders and arms were so sore that all I did was make a salad for dinner and plopped into bed…
The whole time thinking that today I was not gonna stop until it was finished… 🙄🙄🙄…
Woke up this morning to torrential rain that hasn’t stopped…
So I guess it was mother nature’s way of making me take a break hahaha so don’t forget to stop and take a little break or two.. cause anything that must get done will get done when it needs too 😏🙃😏..

We are so programmed to go go go all week long that once the weekend is here we either keep go go going or we are too pooped to do anything 🤔…
So I want you all to do me a favor…😁
Take one day this weekend to unplug, take a walk, go for a hike, read a book or do absolutely nothing…
Promise yourself that you will take time out for yourself to just breathe and simply be…
We all need it, yet we rarely do it…
So do yourself a favor and…….
Take time to refresh this weekend….
Take time to hug a tree…….
Take time to hear the birds sing…….
Take time to simply BE!!! 🤗😊

Slow Down & Pace Things Out

Why is it that when Mondays come around we hit the gate running only to be all worn out by the end of the week???🤔
This morning when I woke up my head was going so fast with all the things I want to get done this week that I felt like my head was driving around a roundabout 😵 Stuck in the inside lane when I needed to be on the outside lane 😲
So needless to say I had to step back, slow down and prioritize not only my today list, but my this week list too..😕
So instead of running out the gate, learn to pace things out… This way your head won’t feel like you’re going around a roundabout 🙃😏🙃

Why is it that when we want to take a break from something we tend to feel guilty for doing so? 🤔
We are programmed to Go Go Go and we wonder why we either break down or wind up getting the F### It’s.. 🙄😱🙄
Our bodies and mind aren’t made to go non stop if they were we wouldn’t need sleep… they both need to take breaks …
Breaks help us get our strength back and help to clear our mind so we don’t get all cluttered and burnt out 😁
So give yourself permission to take a break or two… It will help you get more focused and it’s actually good for you!!!😁.

Have you ever noticed that during the winter season and the holidays we tend to get more burnt out then other times of the year? 🤔🤔…
We catch colds easier, we’re way more tired and stressed too.. is it because it’s cold out?? Is it because it’s Christmas and we’re rushing around like lunatics??
Or is it simply because we get so caught up in everything we want to get done before the end of the year that we forget to stop and take time out for ourselves? 🤔🤔🤔.
Almost everyone I know is either stressed because of Christmas, saying they don’t have enough time or money to get stuff done or they are sick as a dog with a cold or flu!!
Hmmmmm 🤔🤔🤔 there really isn’t any difference between this time of year and any other time of year yet we make ourselves crazy and wind up getting burnt out, physically ill or both!! 😥😖😷..
We truly are in control of our physical and emotional well being and our body does give us cues when we need to chill out and slow down…
The problem is..
We usually don’t listen until it’s too late…
We wind up exhausted or physically ill and then we can’t do anything… Which again makes everything worse!!! 🙁🙄🤔..
No holiday, job or person is worth your getting burnt out or sick…
Listen to your body…
Watch out for the cues…
Slow down a little bit and remember to take care of YOU!! 😊..
This morning while I was walking my dog, I heard the prettiest bird singing and it made me stop for a moment and just listen to all the sounds around me..🙄🙄..
The birds singing, the wind lightly blowing through the leaves in the trees… The little things…
And it made me think about all the little things we take for granted 🙄🤔..
Life is busy yes…
Yet we tend to get so wrapped up in it, especially this time of year, that we forget to stop and smell the roses so to speak… 🤔
We forget to notice all the little things that are so beautiful..
Like the sound of children playing…
A warm and gentle smile we get from a passing stranger..
The sound of the wind blowing through the trees…
The early morning birds singing…
The beauty that surrounds us every day that can truly make us smile…🐝🌹🐦..
Today if only for a minute…
Stop and smell the roses..
Maybe not literally, yet take that pause to just listen to the silence… Notice all the beauty that surrounds you.. Then take a big deep breath and smile… 🤗💗..
Believe me it will change how you handle the rest of your day!!!
