Setbacks Don’t Define You

It’s How You Handle Them That Does

Hello World and Happy Day My Friends πŸ€—
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why does it always seem like when everything is going good, you feel like it’s smooth sailing and you’re so close to finishing something, BAMπŸ’₯ you get slapped hard with something that sets you back big-time🀬😑
The past couple days, in between the rain, I finished putting the flowers and butterfly stickers up the sides of the bus, I replaced ALL the running lights bulbs and covers, I added elastic to the shelving so things don’t fly off the shelves (see pics⬇️),I secured the fridge and got everything I need to install the ladder on the back plus more and then..
BAMπŸ’₯
I find out today that I have to move the bus to it’s own site because the rules state there cannot be 2 RV’s in one site 🀨🀬🀨
Now technically we all know that the bus is NOT a fully self-contained RV yet because I do sleep in it and cook in it etc.. The manager and owner of the park are being…(best not say what I’d like too) and I have no choice but to move to another site or move the bus over to storage which I can’t do because there’s no electricity in storage and I need electricity to finishing working on itπŸ˜”..
So $635 total for me to move to another site starting Tuesday to June 9th..Which not only pushes my departure date back over 2 weeks, It also means I literally cannot spend a dime between now and then and it totally depletes my emergency road savings 😭 so I’ve got to make sure everything is totally on point now..😩
Does this upset me and throw a wrench in my plans..
Yep big-time..
Yet I cannot and will not allow it to beat me down..🀨..
My point in all this is that setbacks happen, they’re a part of life…
Even if no fault of your own, you have two choices..
You can either let it break you or you can stay strong and keep moving forward…
for me I only have one coffee and that is to keep going no matter what πŸ˜‰πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰.
So my friends no matter what life throws at you… Don’t give up… Life really sucks when you love with regrets so keep moving forward no matter what!!! You’ll get to where you’re going eventually and as I always say… Even baby steps get you to your goals and dreams 😘
Have a beautiful day world πŸ’–
Hello World, My name is Ricci pronounced like Ricky, yet it's been mispronounced all my life and at my age I answer to just about anything 😊 I am a writer, a writer of motivational light. A writer about everyday life. My story is one of hope, inspiration & motivation... One that begins over a half a century ago, when life was much different than it is today. We all have our own story, for each of us is unique. Some have had it easy, some have had it hard. Yet I believe that each one of our stories can bring a bit of light to others and I hope mine will bring light to some of you. My goal is to tell my story with hope that others can see that no matter what happens throughout your life... You CAN prevail, even when it feels like you can't. For I know it's possible, even after the loss of a child, which to me is the most devastating life event ever... I know for I have and am prevailing each and every day. It isn't easy and there are days where I feel I cannot go on yet always know that You are NOT alone... Everything is possible when you believe. Everything is possible when you believe in YOU ❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀
  1. Setbacks refine us, whether we want them to or not. I tell myself there’s a reason for this temporary glitch in my plans, that for some reason I don’t understand, it’s important that I get to the next step later rather than sooner. Thinking of times when a chance meeting with someone made a huge difference to my life, and it’s possible that some of those people don’t even remember what for me was a momentous occasion makes me wonder if, perhaps, my smile or my presence provided a turning point to something better for someone else. I like to believe that. We don’t always know what influence we may have on people we see only once for a moment or so. And sometimes, it’s me that gets a wonderful surprise of some kind because I arrived later, or went to a different store because the usual one closes earlier. Sometimes I get someplace in time to help someone who’s in distress, or who needs a smile or a friendly word — if I’d been there earlier, I’d have missed them.
