Hello World and Happy Day My Friends π€π
When I first got the bus I was all determined to get it totally converted in a month or two max… Haha haha well we know that didn’t happen cause 7 months later and I’m still doing things to it π€π
Not that it’s a bad thing at all cause I’m actually glad that I’m taking my time so that hopefully there won’t be too many changes needed once I hit the road… π
I’ve been making jewelry and working with polymer clay for a long time and I’m one that needs to know where everything is and very organized when it comes to all my crafty”stuff” and storing tools and supplies in see-through stackable shoe boxes always helped in that manner… πππ
Well knowing that I wanted to bring that “stuff” with me in the bus so I have things to do on my down days.. I was going bonkers trying to figure out how to stack them in a place that was easily accessible so I didn’t hurt my back trying to get to them and in a way that they wouldn’t fall all over the place while I drive π€π€π€
I tried so many things and was getting so frustrated and truly felt defeated..so I put it on the back burner for a while and this weekend it was like a light blub went off in my head…
I have all this room under my bed since I moved the fridge and two ways to access stuff under there…
Duh Ricci…
So I built a bookshelf and woo hoo perfect solution lol… See pics β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
My point in all this is that we get so wrapped up in the big picture and looking at the end result that we can lose our motivation and feel defeated… Sometimes all we need to do is step back, take a break and the answers will come… πππ..
Go figure huh…
Have a great night world π

Tip – for each shelf, put a little curtain type or small tea cup hook, at roughly half the depth of the shelf, on each side.
Put one on each side, at the same level – for each shelf.
Then … stretch a length of easily visible elastic between each shelf – and knot each side to the shelf hook.
(imagine it looking like a stretched out capital letter H).
By doing this, you’re ensuring that those plastic boxes won’t spill out when you drive around corners. The elastic, stretched across the shelf at rougly mid level of each shelf gap (looking like a stretched out capital letter H), will keep your boxes in place.
Obviously – make the elastic tight enough to do the job required, but loose enough to manoeuvre out of the way when you want to get a box of ‘toys’ out to play with.

Your solution looks nice, too. To have things looking pretty is always a bonus.
