Don’t Ever Stop Believing

Cause Dreams Do Come True

Hello World and Happy Day My Friends πŸ’—

⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇BUS UPDATE⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

I was very blessed to have a mom that always taught me to believe in my dreams and that if you have faith and believe in yourself and your dreams, nothing can stop your dreams from being your reality…

I’ve always believed that and I taught my kids that as well πŸ’—πŸ™πŸ’—

Last July with the help, love and support of so many people… My dream of getting a van/bus to convert so that I could keep my promise to my son, travel and sprinkle his ashes at all the places we wanted to go to came true πŸ€—πŸ’—

Most of you have seen the work I’ve been doing on the inside and I love how it’s coming along, Yet the outside was driving me insane. No matter how much I scrubbed it, it looked kinda grungy 😱

After pricing out what it would cost to get it painted I knew that wasn’t gonna happen…

Until last week…

A dear friend knew how frustrated I’ve been and knowing that the body of the bus was half aluminum and half fiberglass suggested that I paint it myself 😱

haha well you know me…

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED 😁

I did the research for the type of paint I needed which was a Topside Marine paint that’s normally used for boats, priced it and …

OMG…

Getting it painted went from a cost of $2000+ to under $100 to do it myself 😱

Soooooo this is what I’ve been doing for the past week (except the days that mother nature decided to rain for 3 days)..

It’s not done but it’s been primered and has 1 coat on it and OMG IT’S LIKE A BRAND NEW BUS πŸ€—πŸ˜

I couldn’t wait to show you all cause I’m so proud of what I’ve done and when I woke up this morning I knew I had to write a poem about believing and having faith in your dreams cause I’m bonified proof that with hard work, determination, faith and belief nothing can stop you from making your dreams a reality…

So don’t ever stop believing. Have faith in all you do… Cause having faith & believing is what makes your dreams come true!

Have a beautiful day world πŸ’—

Hello World, My name is Ricci pronounced like Ricky, yet it's been mispronounced all my life and at my age I answer to just about anything 😊 I am a writer, a writer of motivational light. A writer about everyday life. My story is one of hope, inspiration & motivation... One that begins over a half a century ago, when life was much different than it is today. We all have our own story, for each of us is unique. Some have had it easy, some have had it hard. Yet I believe that each one of our stories can bring a bit of light to others and I hope mine will bring light to some of you. My goal is to tell my story with hope that others can see that no matter what happens throughout your life... You CAN prevail, even when it feels like you can't. For I know it's possible for I have and am prevailing each and every day. You are NOT alone... Everything is possible when you believe. Everything is possible when you believe in YOU ❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀ https://www.gofundme.com/riccis-healing-journey

  1. I like all those pictures. Thanks for including the one of the bus’s butt! For some reason, that really impresses me, that you think the butt is as important as the face.
I cleaned my car last summer, and a lot of people thought I’d bought a new car.
Regarding making your dreams come true, there’s a song from a TV show that had a very important line in it about that: “Dreams come true when you want them to, when you want them to and it’s up to you”
Some dreams depend on other people: that kind you can’t make come true because while you are sometimes able to influence others, there’s a limit to your control of them. The kind of dreams you can make come true are the ones that you can build for yourself. It can be astonishing to discover how much you can do when you give a dream honest respect and do your best!
Sometimes we can’t do something the way that other people do. That’s when it’s vital to remember that there is always another way, like you painting your own bus.

      1. I enjoy reading about your progress. I’ve had a bit of difficulty in my own journey for the past few months, and finally figured out what’s gone wrong: I was trying to travel the way “common knowledge” says is best. It’s my journey, and I have to do it my way!
A song from long ago, a story about singer Robert Goulet (“goulet” is pronounced “goo-lay”). “And Robert Goulet went to Torontay. I know it’s Toronto, not Torontay, but this is my song and I’ll sing it my way”.
Gotta do it my way….. ooooooooo…….
Thanks for being you and sharing!
