When You Make A To-Do List

Put Yourself On It Too

Hello World & Happy Day My Friends 🤗🤗

All this week I’ve been rearranging the bus to make more room cause it was totally set up for just me and I hadn’t taken into consideration that other than my bed, there really wasn’t anywhere for anyone to come in and sit down 🤔..

So after my daughter said she wants to travel with me during her summer break from college, I knew I had to redo the bus to make more room or we’d be literally on top of each other the whole trip which would open a huge can of OMG GET OUT OF MY WAY.. MOVE..ETC 🤔..

Well I’ve been so focused on rearranging the bus that this morning when I woke up I realized that there were a couple of things I had scheduled to do this week FOR ME that I totally forgot about 🙄..

That’s what made me realize that I really do need to start making to-do lists again 😒..

We get so focused on the big things that need to get done each day, that we tend to forget about the little things and then have to rush rush rush to get them done which in turn leaves no time to do the things we want to do for us…

Or ….

like usual we put ourselves on the back burner thinking we aren’t as important as everything else!!!

Hmmmmm🤔🤔🤔 So not true!!!!

Making daily to-do lists are very important to do… Just don’t forget that one of those spots should always be used for YOU!!!

Have a beautiful day world 💗

Hello World, My name is Ricci pronounced like Ricky, yet it's been mispronounced all my life and at my age I answer to just about anything 😊 I am a writer, a writer of motivational light. A writer about everyday life. My story is one of hope, inspiration & motivation... One that begins over a half a century ago, when life was much different than it is today. We all have our own story, for each of us is unique. Some have had it easy, some have had it hard. Yet I believe that each one of our stories can bring a bit of light to others and I hope mine will bring light to some of you. My goal is to tell my story with hope that others can see that no matter what happens throughout your life... You CAN prevail, even when it feels like you can't. For I know it's possible, even after the loss of a child, which to me is the most devastating life event ever... I know for I have and am prevailing each and every day. It isn't easy and there are days where I feel I cannot go on yet always know that You are NOT alone... Everything is possible when you believe. Everything is possible when you believe in YOU ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  1. oh my goodness that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I feel guilty when I do something that’s just for me, so I put it off thinking that if I do something for others first it’ll be easier to do something for me and I wind up squishing my time into nothing. All right, now — as soon as I post this thank for reminding me — I will hop to me.

  2. Hot send to fast lol… I think it’s all about how we choose to prioritize or list… For me I always meditate for 10 minutes before I even make my breakfast, coffee or my bed and then I go about my day… Right now I just have a lot going on with the bus and although it’s a big thing, it is my first priority right now 💗😘💗😘

  3. I wonder what you think about doing a few of the little things first, and then a bigger thing as needed, wanted, or preferred? I saw this video the other day which talked about doing the #1 little thing first – making one’s bed. Personally, I think planting my feet, thanking God for the day ahead 1st, then making my bed is a better system for me. These two take a few short minutes, and can be mentally checked off quickly. My mind is actually clearer then, and I’m ready to move on to the next priority, breakfast! When I think about it, all the things I just mentioned are things I do for me.

      1. May I suggest you kindly ask the Universe to send you some good ideas well suited to your personal sense and sensibilities? Specify how much of the time you currently have in your hands you’d like to spend, and then be ready to receive. Very exciting!

      2. Thanks I actually do that daily… Before I even make my coffee and breakfast, I meditate for 10-15 minutes along the universe to guide my day. Lately it’s been a lot of working on my bus so I can fulfill my dream and keep my promise to my son … I truly believe in asking the universe for guidance cause it hasn’t ever steered me wrong 🤗🙏💗🤗🙏💗
