Watch For Burnout Cues

Take Some Time For You

Hello World & Happy Day My Friends πŸ€—πŸ’—

Have you ever noticed that during the winter season and the holidays we tend to get more burnt out then other times of the year? πŸ€”πŸ€”…

We catch colds easier, we’re way more tired and stressed too.. is it because it’s cold out?? Is it because it’s Christmas and we’re rushing around like lunatics??

Or is it simply because we get so caught up in everything we want to get done before the end of the year that we forget to stop and take time out for ourselves? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”.

Almost everyone I know is either stressed because of Christmas, saying they don’t have enough time or money to get stuff done or they are sick as a dog with a cold or flu!!

Hmmmmm πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” there really isn’t any difference between this time of year and any other time of year yet we make ourselves crazy and wind up getting burnt out, physically ill or both!! πŸ˜₯πŸ˜–πŸ˜·..

We truly are in control of our physical and emotional well being and our body does give us cues when we need to chill out and slow down…

The problem is..

We usually don’t listen until it’s too late…

We wind up exhausted or physically ill and then we can’t do anything… Which again makes everything worse!!! πŸ™πŸ™„πŸ€”..

No holiday, job or person is worth your getting burnt out or sick…

Listen to your body…

Watch out for the cues…

Slow down a little bit and remember to take care of YOU!! 😊..

Hello World, My name is Ricci pronounced like Ricky, yet it's been mispronounced all my life and at my age I answer to just about anything 😊 I am a writer, a writer of motivational light. A writer about everyday life. My story is one of hope, inspiration & motivation... One that begins over a half a century ago, when life was much different than it is today. We all have our own story, for each of us is unique. Some have had it easy, some have had it hard. Yet I believe that each one of our stories can bring a bit of light to others and I hope mine will bring light to some of you. My goal is to tell my story with hope that others can see that no matter what happens throughout your life... You CAN prevail, even when it feels like you can't. For I know it's possible for I have and am prevailing each and every day. You are NOT alone... Everything is possible when you believe. Everything is possible when you believe in YOU ❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀ https://www.gofundme.com/riccis-healing-journey

  1. Very true. My Mum has been asleep in bed all day, after collapsing this morning. She wears me out when she is well, on the go all the time, but it has all finally been a bit too much for her. Hopefully she will sleep well tonight too and will be feeling better tomorrow. At least I got to sit and rest today!

  2. One hundred per cent correct! It’s a time of year when it’s best to not tell anyone what, exactly, you’re doing with your time and energy. Plan a rest day, and plan a rest hour every day. Don’t let anyone or anything take that from you, no matter how urgent the matter seems (except if the building is burning. Let that interrupt you).
Love yourself enough to be good to you.
